I am an Operating Partner/Investor

My main work is raising debt and equity for Portfolio companies, supporting their M&A activity, marketing, and operations. I sit on four company boards, and am Chairman of a Pension fund and of its investment committee. I have a preference for Green Economy and Renewable/Sustainable solutions.

I used to work at McKinsey and Company. I went to Harvard College and Harvard Law School. I am licensed in Florida.

I like to support startups

I have mentored and otherwise supported several founders and startups. I am also a Board Member of the Richard Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship Caribbean.

I am paying attention to AI, LLM and Blockchain

Interested in ethical applications. I code and deploy smart contracts and programs on Solana and Ethereum testnets. Buildspace has great tutorials. Scroll down to see some examples of my Blockchain projects (need a wallet and testnet ETH/SOL).

I like Art

I like art shows and museums and the occasional piece of fine art. I own Paintings on different media, and Photographs. I also invest in physical art via platforms like Masterworks and NFTs on Ethereum, Solana and Polygon. I am a Board Member of National Museums Jamaica, a member of the Jamaica Arts Society, and an active member of the Perez Art Museum in Miami.

I like music

I was the head of the Black Music Department at Harvard's radio station for a few years and I used to DJ parties. Now I just listen.

I like the business of fashion

I used to be known as a good dresser. Now I just wear clothes. I do things like Complexcon and Hypefest and I wear the sneakers I collect. I used to work in the fashion buying and planning department at Macy's many years ago.
